This Saturday October  20th, 2012 is the monthly weekend Adoption Day at Warner Robins Animal Control.  Go down between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to view our pets and possibly find your next best friend. 

This weekend there are more things going on. Morgan from Pro31Boutique will have dog bows, tutus, collars, and other accessories for sale; Happy Pet Mobile Vet will be on Site for all of your medical needs; and Hat's for Hounds will be available also!

Local Restaurant Helps Raise Funds for Humane Society of Houston County

Eat at Dickey's Barbecue Pit for dinner and a portion of proceeds will go to The Humane Society of Houston County.

On September 26, from 5-8 p.m., your meal serve two purposes: it'll feed you and your family as well as help feed those sweet animals at the Humane Society.

Dickey's is located in the Publix Shopping Center on Watson Blvd. across from Tractor Supply.

This beautiful female hound/beagle, more commonly known as Reva Red, calls home Warner Robins Animal Control.

For now. Her online listing even boasts that she walks happily on a leash.

She's available for adoption. Call 478-929-7290 to claim her as your new family member.

7th Annual Rescue Day to Feature Fun for Families and Pets

 

Fifteen animal rescue groups from around the Middle Georgia area are gathering together April 21 for the Seventh Annual Rescue Day at Tractor Supply Company in Byron, a Save a Pet news release says.

Along with the rescue groups, others are joining them to help get pets adopted, keeping your pet health and well trained, and sharing fun activities to do with your dog.

Along with pet adoptions, there will be a vaccination clinic, children’s fun dog show, pony rides, dog training demonstrations, dog cart demonstrations and rides and information about involved in pet therapy.

  • Saint Francis performs at The Hummingbird in Downtown Macon.
