Two Warner Robins Businesses Robbed

Two businesses on Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, were robbed within a matter of hours.

Police are investigating whether they are connected.

The Dollar General at 2451 Watson Blvd. was robbed around 8 a.m. Police say a man threatened a clerk who was opening the store.

He took money from the clerk and ran away.

About nine hours earlier, police responded to an armed robbery call at the Waffle House at 12021 Watson Blvd.

The suspect approached the counter and handed the cashier a note demanding money, brandishing a pistol. The male fled the scene in a silver vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported.

According to WRPD spokesman Tabitha Pugh, both victims described the
robber as a white male, about 6-feet tall with a heavy build.

The Waffle House robber covered his face with a cloth; the Dollar General robber did not.
