Base spokeswoman Chrissy Miner estimates between 150,000 and 170,000 people descended on the International City to see the Blue Angels and other acts in flight.

In a statement Robins Installation Commander, Col. Mitchel Butikofer, called the air show a record breaking success.

Butikofer also addressed the long lines that plagued the show on its first day saying, "I would also like to thank our guests for their patience and understanding as we worked through some logistical challenges on day one, accommodating an unexpected, but appreciated tremendous turn out."

This year marked the first air show held at Robins AFB in three years.
