Robins Airman Charged with Killing Woman, Unborn Child | Military

A Robins AFB airman and Byron resident was arrested and charged with the death of a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
The Tift County Sheriff's Department arrested Senior Airman Charles Wilson III, age 26, who was assigned to the 461st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, according to a Robins AFB release.
Wilson has been charged with murdering 30-year-old Tameda Ferguson and her unborn child, according to a GBI news release.
Her body was found in her Dawson, Ga. house, Thursday, Aug. 29. She was reported to be about 8.5 months pregnant. She died from a gunshot wound, the release says.
He's charged with one count of murder and one count of feticide -- killing an unborn child.
He's still on active duty.
