The Defense Department announced the following assignments on Feb. 5:

• Brig. Gen. Scott J. Zobrist, who has been selected for the rank of major general, commander, 31st Fighter Wing, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Aviano Air Base, Italy, to director of requirements, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.

• Brig. Gen. Kenneth E. Todorov, deputy director of operations, Headquarters U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., to director, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization, J-8, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

• Brig. Gen. David C. Wesley, staff judge advocate, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., to staff judge advocate, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
