Congressman Austin Scott made a trip to Warner Robins, Tuesday, to meet with community leaders and discuss plans for the largest workforce in the 8th district.

He also paid a visit to 13WMAZ, where he told Kenny Burgamy that he expects better things for Robins Air Force Base this year.

Reflective belts are no longer required during physical training, and airmen can wear black socks and any color of athletic shoe with the PT uniform, according to uniform changes that went into effect on Friday.

While the Air Force no longer insists on the reflective belts during PT, commanders still have final say, according to the AFI signed by Brig. Gen. Eden Murrie, director of Air Force Services at the Pentagon.

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- After more than 80 years as the Georgia State Capitol's most prominent statue, the likeness of 19th century white supremacist politician and newspaperman Tom Watson was quietly removed the day after Thanksgiving.

That prompted some civil rights leaders to ask that it be replaced with a statue of Martin Luther King, Jr.

State Representative Tyrone Brooks (D-Atlanta) even introduced a bill to make it happen.

Robots to invade Museum of Aviation

Robots to invade Museum of Aviation

Warner Robins, Georgia, -- STARBASE ROBINS will once again host the Georgia FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League Super Regional Robotics competition on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Museum of Aviation.  The opening ceremonies will begin at 9:00 am in the Century of Flight hangar, there will be two other robotic rounds at 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm.  The competition will conclude with an awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m.
