Local Car Show to Feature Vehicles from Superhero Movies

The 20th Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation's Wings & Wheels car, truck and motorcycle show features a few special guests this weekend.

The car show, open all day Saturday, Oct. 13, is expected to feature Jack Orrell's self-built Batman tribute replica (shown above), according to a release.

Orrell is active duty Air Force and currently stationed with JSTARS in the 461st MXS.

Orrell also brings the only taxi cab returned to the United States from the iconic "Captain America" movie.

You'll be able to see the original Yellow Cab Company Taxi from the 2010 movie "Captain America: The First Avenger." The taxi cab was featured during the Heinz Kruger chase scene after Steve Roger's transformation into the "Super Soldier."

Visitors will be able to get their photos taken with the cars for a donation. The proceeds help raise funds for the Aviation Museum's annual Christmas party.

The car show opens with registration at 8 a.m. for car registrants and wraps up with judging at 4:45 p.m.
