The Boeing Company has donated a large model of an F-15E “Strike Eagle” Fighter to the Museum of Aviation, a Museum of Aviation news release says.

The fighter model will be a permanent outdoor display near the Museum’s Eagle Building south entrance doorway.

Boeing will also donate $7,000 to the Museum during the model dedication on Monday, April 23.

The model has a six-foot wing span and will sit atop a high pole next to the building entrance. 

The 402d Maintenance Wing (MXW) at Robins Air Force Base provides depot maintenance and software development for the F-15 aircraft. And the Warner Robins Air Logistic Center/GRM “Eagle Division” provides worldwide support to all F-15 aircraft , both for the U.S. Air Force fleet as well as for all foreign military sales users.
